Cardomatix helps you turn an idea, and optionally a photo, into personal artwork. You can then choose a digital artwork download or personalise a greeting card.
Who runs Cardomatix
Cardomatix is based in the United Kingdom.
For studio or order enquiries, email hello@cardomatix.uk.
Creating artwork
The examples are inspiration, not a fixed selection of finished cards. You can adapt an idea or start with your own.
Artwork is generated using AI, so results can vary. Check the result before choosing to buy or use it. Creation limits may apply; the studio will explain when a request cannot continue.
Photos and other material you use
Only provide material you have the right to use. Make sure you have the necessary permission from people shown in photos, including from a parent or guardian where appropriate.
Do not use the studio to create unlawful material, abuse or harass people, infringe another person's rights or impersonate someone in a harmful or misleading way.
You retain any rights you already hold in the photos and text you provide. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that material.
Copyrighted characters, brands and other protected material
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed for the material you upload, request or use. This includes protected characters, artwork, logos, brands and other material belonging to third parties.
Generating or buying an image through Cardomatix does not give you permission from those rights holders. A result appearing in the studio is not confirmation that every intended use is lawful.
Using purchased artwork
We do not promise that generated artwork will be unique or that exclusive copyright will arise in every part of it. Your use must comply with applicable law and these terms.
Checking a card design
Before ordering, preview the front, inside and back. Check names, spelling, message placement, the picture and your delivery details.
Approving a design does not remove your rights if the product supplied is faulty, incorrectly produced or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer requirements.
Prices and payment
The price and any delivery charge are shown before payment. Check the total and order details before continuing. Stripe processes payments.
If payment appears to have been taken but you cannot confirm the order, contact us before trying to pay again.
Digital artwork downloads
A digital purchase supplies the artwork file described in the purchase information without the preview watermark. It does not include a printable personalised folded-card layout unless expressly stated.
Each secure download link is valid for 48 hours from when it is created. Save the file to your device. Link expiry does not itself delete the stored artwork or cancel your purchase.
If you cannot access a purchased download, contact us with your order reference or purchase details. We may need to verify the purchase and ownership before helping you regain access.
Printed cards and delivery
We use third-party providers to print and deliver card orders. For questions about an order, contact hello@cardomatix.uk.
For orders bought through Cardomatix, contact hello@cardomatix.uk about damage, an incorrect item or a delivery problem. We will investigate and work with the fulfilment provider as appropriate. Your statutory rights are not limited to whatever remedy our supplier offers us.
If you notice an incorrect delivery address, contact us promptly. Whether it can be changed depends on the order's production and delivery stage.
Changes, cancellations and faulty orders
Contact us as soon as possible if you want to change or cancel an order. We cannot promise that a personalised card can be changed or stopped once production has begun.
Personalised goods do not normally carry the standard change-of-mind cancellation right. This does not remove your rights where goods are faulty or not as described. Depending on the circumstances, a repair, replacement or refund may be required.
For digital content, the change-of-mind cancellation right can end when supply begins if you have expressly requested immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of that right. Your rights concerning faulty digital content continue to apply.
The Gallery
Sharing finished artwork is optional and separate from purchasing. Only share work you have permission to make public. You can withdraw your sharing permission through the available controls or by contacting us.
Problems and support
If a technical problem affects your work or purchase, email hello@cardomatix.uk. Include your order reference if available and explain what happened. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
The studio may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance or technical problems. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You can also contact us through the support page.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The terms provided for an order apply to that order; later wording does not automatically replace what was agreed when you bought.
